The Fengqiu-Yuanyang section of Lankao-Yuanyang Expressway is located in central Henan, north of the Yellow River, starting from Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway in the east and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in the west. The project is located in the plain area. Aerial photogrammetry is used to complete the 1:2000 topographic map drawing. The implementation of the project shortened the construction period and reduced labor costs. The use of ortho photos with coordinates and elevations can facilitate the preliminary design of highways on the images. The project realizes the effective combination of traditional surveying and mapping and aerial photogrammetry, and better serves the highway design work.
